Schneeflocken   [Göttingen, Germany]

Winter is acoming! The first snowflakes (Schneeflocken in German) coming down from a blue winter sky (and hopefully not melting away during a sunny day) can now be found in the middle of Göttingen. I hope they will be a harbinger for more snow soon!

It took me quite a while to find a good place for this knit graffiti. It was either too small or too big for all the trees and other places I tried. Finally I found a tree for which "Schneeflocken" had the right size. From there it can also be seen quite well while passing by. Nevertheless I already saw quite many people walking by without noticing.. So never forget to keep your eyes wide open! Winter may sit just around the corner or on the next tree ;-)

On the left side: "Schneeflocken" at home before going out into the cold. If anyone is interested in any knitting patterns or information about knitting those small snowflakes, don't hesitate to leave a comment or send an email to KaKuglaKnit@googlemail.com!
