manga española   [Seville, Spain]

Seville has now an orange tree with a sleeve (manga in Spanish). Although it is still quite hot there, I left a knitted piece at the tree. You never know, winter maybe coming soon..

The tree is part of a small recreation area on a plaza. A huge and beautifully old tree can also be found there (I suppose it
is a magnolia) as well as a fountain and a nice tapas bar. If you ever come to Seville be sure to find this scenic place. A perfect spot to winter (and of course also nice to see in summer..)!

In the picture left: "manga española" before it was put on the arm of the tree. The green wool by the way has once been a pullover my grandmother knitted for my dad. But since the sweater always was too small for him, my mother undid it later and it served me as perfect material to make oven cloths for my mother and a good friend of mine. "Löwenzahn" was also made of this wool.
