While walking around in Cologne during the last days I surprisingly came across three knit graffitis. Two of them were knitted around trees in a short avenue of plane trees (unfortunately I don't have a mobile phone to decode them)..
..and the third one gave me a warm welcome while entering a small park.
I felt very comfortable with leaving my own tag "Löwenzahn" in that area, too.
If somebody knows the person/s who left these knittings there, it would be nice if you left a comment or mailed to kakuglaknit@googlemail.com or at least give my best to him/her/them!
:-)
EDIT (Nov 19, 2011): As I recently discovered, sockshype, a blog for self-customised lifestyle fashion, also found these and other knittings. See their posts "Knit Art im Belgischen Viertel" and "Knit-Art am Rathenauplatz". But they don't seem to have spotted "Löwenzahn" yet... ;-)
EDIT (Dec 9, 2011): The mystery is now solved - the graffitis were made by Fraktion de Gü.

Löwenzahn [Cologne, Germany]
Ever seen a dandelion growing on a tree? This small "Löwenzahn" (German for dandelion) made friends with a plane tree standing in an avenue of these trees in Cologne.
It found a nice welcome there since there were already two other plane trees with yarn bombing on them and an entrance to a small park nearby also had large knittings to show (see also my post "KNIT ART FOUND in Cologne").
Hopefully my "Löwenzahn" will stay alive for a long time and will not be destroyed by weed control..
